Sinopse: Baseado no filme “Friday Night Lights” (que no Brasil recebeu o título de “Tudo Pela Vitória”), essa nova série é ambientada na cidade rural de Dillon, no Texas, onde o título de campeão estadual de futebol americano é guardado como o maior bem dos moradores.
O promissor time da escola da cidade é comandado pelo recém indicado técnico Eric Taylor (Kyle Chandler, “Grey’s Anatomy”, “The Lyon’s Den”, “Early Edition”), ex-astro e zagueiro, que sente a pressão quando a nova temporada começa.
Formado em grande parte por atores novatos, o elenco principal é formado por Jason Street (Scott Porter, “The Bedford Diaries”), o astro da equipe Panther, que atualmente está afastado após se machucar; Brian “Smash” Williams (Gaius Charles, “Book of Daniel”), o principal atacante do time; Tim Riggins (Taylor Kitsch, “Kyle XY”), que joga na defesa; Tami Taylor (Connie Britton, “24 Horas”), a esposa de Taylor e a nova conselheira da escola; Matt Saracen (Zach Gilford), o novo capitão do time e zagueiro novato; e Lyla Garrity (Minka Kelly, “What I Like About You”), uma das líderes de torcida do Panther e a namorada de Street.
Outros personagens incluem Julie Taylor (Aimee Teegarden, “O Manual de Sobrevivência Escolar do Ned”), a filha do treinador Taylor; Tyra Collette (Adrianne Palicki, “South Beach”); e Landry Clarke (Jesse Plemons, “Grey’s Anatomy”)
