Sinopse: “The Office” aborda a dolorosa e divertida convivência nos cubículos da Dunder Mifflin, uma empresa fornecedora de papéis, em Scrancton, Pensilvânia. O vencedor do Globo de Ouro Steve Carell (“O Virgem de 40 Anos”, “Todo Poderoso”), estrela a série como o convencido gerente regional Michael Scott. Seus funcionários o toleram apenas pelo fato dele assinar o contracheque deles.Com um entusiasmo inabalável, Michael acredita que é o cara mais engraçado do escritório e é a fonte da sabedoria dos negócios. Sem saber como ele é visto por seus funcionários, Michael acaba sempre alternando decisões absurdas ou patéticas, mas sempre hilárias.Entre os funcionários do escritório estão a doce recepcionista Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer, “Miss Match”), que quase sempre é a responsável pelo comportamento de Michael.
